Overview

Ghost is an encrypted cryptocurrency wallet to wallet messenger developed by Catch Social Inc. aimed towards users who are looking to connect and chat with other like-minded crypto community members while keeping their identities safe and secure.

I worked as a UX/UI designer alongside lead designer Yasir Eryilmaz to research and design mobile features for Ghost Messaging and was responsible for designing the overall messaging experience and chat interactions.

Some of my design responsibilities included the chat interface and options, reactions and replies, and FrenMoji sticker integration as well as the overall notification system (push and in-app notifications, alerts, and errors), chat and profile picture empty states, and in-app purchasing flows.

During my time at Ghost, I was also responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Ghost Design System and for maintaining the consistency of the UX writing and microcopy across the app and was tasked with adapting our Ghost Messenger mobile designs for web viewing for our web extension.
